Four days in Mishana: the whole three-day programme, plus an afternoon on a white-sand beach with an Amazonian barbecue and a demonstration of aguaje palm climbing.

The trip leaves Iquitos by road for the village of Ninarumi and from there goes up the Nanay by boat to the 'Agua Negra' control post, already inside the reserve. You stay at the Mishana community lodge, and meals are served in its dining room.
Two moments are added to the three-day programme: an afternoon on the white sands of Yarana beach, with an Amazonian barbecue, and a demonstration of aguaje palm climbing, the technique the community uses to harvest the fruit without felling the tree.

Day 1

8:00 – 8:30
Leaving Iquitos for Ninarumi
- Departure by private road transport from the meeting point, heading for the village of Ninarumi.

9:30 – 11:30
Up the Nanay river
- Boat ride from Ninarumi to the 'Agua Negra' control post, inside the Allpahuayo Mishana National Reserve.
- Box lunch is handed out along the way.

11:30 – 12:00
'Agua Negra' control post
- Visitors are registered.
- Briefing on the protected area and the rules of conduct.

13:00 – 17:00
Arrival at the Mishana community
- Welcome and check-in at the community lodge.
- Regional lunch in the lodge dining room.
- Guided walk through community life.

Evening at the lodge
- Dinner at the community lodge and free time.
Day 2

8:00 – 12:00
The Chamizal trail
- Breakfast at the community lodge.
- Interpretive walk along the Chamizal trail, watching the plants and animals of the varillal and chamizal forests.

Catamaran on the Yararana lake
- Lunch at the community lodge.
- Catamaran ride to take in the landscape and look for wildlife.

Night walk
- Dinner at the community lodge.
- Night walk through one of the community's visitor areas, or free time at the lodge.
Day 3

8:00 – 12:00
Fishing
- Breakfast at the community lodge.
- Transfer to the Yarana lake for sport fishing.

Beach and Amazonian barbecue
- Transfer to Yarana beach.
- The barbecue is built and lunch is served on the sand.
- Time to enjoy the white-sand beach.
- Return to the community lodge.

Evening at the lodge
- Dinner at the community lodge and free time.
Day 4

8:00 – 11:00
Aguaje palm climbing
- Breakfast at the community lodge.
- A demonstration of aguaje palm climbing, the way the Mishana community harvests the fruit.
- Visitors may join in if they wish.

Back to Iquitos
- Lunch at the community lodge.
- Return to Iquitos by river and road.
- End of services.
